It is hard to get your motivation and drive back if you aren’t feeling well physically, and it will play games with your head and mind. There are 3 very important secrets to get to The Best Version of Her. We have these in our lives daily, and it affects everything we do. Mindset. Nutrition. Fitness. You master these, and you already WON! With our mindset, this is our attitude and beliefs, which in turn sets the tone, and behavior every day when we rise. We decide how it is going to be, and it can go in two very different directions. I will give you my secrets to retrain your brain, identify and shift the limiting beliefs, and make that new decision and pull your attention forward and STAY THERE!

Nutrition is simple if you just trust the process. What isn’t working for you when you consume a meal? What gives you inflammation, low energy, and days with bloated tummy issues? Um, NO. It is time to change that crappy feeling and N.O.W. How do we tackle this big one? Our gut health is the most important thing connected with us, and it works directly with our brain. Our Gut IS our second brain. The answer? Elimination Diet. I will spill my secrets for this protocol, and where to start!

The third thing to tackle and master is our physical fitness. We need energy NOW! Our world is crazy, and lighting fast with digital technology. We have to keep up with stressful careers, kids, high maintenance fur kids(I have 5 and it is crazy), running a household, meal planning, and a billion other things. Who has time to work out?

DUDE. You have time. Trust me, I was there. But making it a priority in your life changes everything. I will give my secrets on what exercises and workouts will burn that fat, help with thyroid and hormone imbalances, and save you hella time! Best Version of Her Secret #1 – MINDSET.

Mindset. Everyone is talking about it and the hot topic all the time. What is mindset anyway? The definition: The established set of attitudes held by someone. What does it mean? It means from the belief system you have, and with that way of thinking(whatever it might be), you determine your mental attitude, behavior, and outlook on life. It is the foundation of success in all aspects of your life. Mind, body, and soul.

Most people have a fixed mindset or a growth mindset. Fixed Mindset – With a fixed mindset, people believe their qualities such as their intelligence or talent are just fixed traits. They think talent alone will create success with zero effort. Wrong. They also fear and do not like change, resist any new challenges, and stay stagnant, and happy to do so. Growth Mindset – This Mindset is someone who believes and thrives on change, help other like-minded people along the way, and celebrate others successes. They are excited about each day and what it brings.

Which one are you? There is a method to learning and shifting into a Focused, Growth Mindset, and having clarity on a daily basis. The inner work consists of anything you do to train your mind for believing in yourself. You will get to the Success, and help others on this path as well. Energy Flows Where Intention Goes

Set your Intentions for the Day. 

This is the starting point for gaining perspective on a new mindset to follow. Let’s Journal it out!  Set your Intentions for the day by writing out or journaling all of your desires, goals, and direction in life. Ask yourself the real questions. How do you want to feel every day? How do you want your life to look like? Journal out everything, and REALLY FEEL what you are writing down.

Are you stuck in certain parts of your life? What is really holding you back? Where do you really want to see yourself in 6 months? a year? Tomorrow? What will you do to get there? Write these out over and over again. Then revisit them daily, and turn all of your thoughts into positive vibes and personal affirmations for the day. Your confidence will rise quickly through these practices and you will gain focus and clarity. BOOM. You will have many Breakthroughs. You will get SUPER laser-focused just by writing EVERYTHING out, and then OWNING IT!

Be grateful for everything, and keep doing it. Give yourself some Love, and write out 20 Positive Affirmations each day. Putting I AM in front of the sentences is the way to go. I am Strong. I am Confident. I am impacting my client’s lives daily. I am enough. Affirmations will reframe your belief system and any limiting beliefs you currently hold on to. Trust me, it works! I AM.

Practice Mindful Meditation.

Practicing Mindful Meditation is a really good thing to add to your life every day. Mindful Meditation is simply being fully aware and present in the moment, and with yourself. The primary focus is on one’s physical state. First of all, it relieves any stress in your life, helps you relax and focus, removes the crap, blocks and limiting beliefs, and gets you centered on YOU. You can, and will get super clear with meditation.

I do this first thing in the morning. Find a quiet, calm place. Decide if you want to meditate sitting on a pillow on the floor, or is a straight back sofa or chair. Close your eyes, palms facing up in your lap or on your legs, inhale, and take big, full, deep breaths in, and then exhale, and blow the air out. Do this ten times. Clear your head, your mind, and let it go. Breathe deeply. It feels amazing and really gets you into the moment. Do it ten more times. However long you want. Just give yourself this time and sacred space for yourself. It is all about focus and concentration. It will also reduce or end any anxiety or stress you might be holding on to, and inflammation!

Visualization.

Attract all those thoughts. Every one of the Goals and Desires you wrote down and revisited. Sit quietly and visualize them. Visualize all the Goals and Desires, and everything you want for your life like they already happened. Act AS IF. Feel the emotion and feel what it is like to be in your higher self.  Gain energy and gratitude from this every day and know it is already there waiting on you to step into it. Make it happen. Don’t look back. repeat it over and over and over and know and see yourself that you can do anything you want.

Take Action.   

It is Go Time. This is the Mindset SHIFT. Take the messy action. Do something new every day WITH the NEW Decision you made. Show up. You are confident. You are doing this. You already did it. manifest it into your life. take this action every day in your inner work. stay on it. active in a positive mindset daily your limiting beliefs will diminish. it will go the F away! Trust me. The confidence will happen and you will be present in what you are doing with your health, your fitness, your mind, and your relationships. It will affect every part of your life.

Rinse and Repeat. 

Do it every single day. BOOM. Change the belief system you created when you were a small human. Make a different and NEW Decision. Here is the Beautiful part. Once that NEW DECISION is made, it changes everything in your life. Congratulations! You are on your way to a huge transformation.

Best Version of Her – Secret #2 – NUTRITION.

Let’s face it, your nutrition needs to be on point. Every day. If you want any change in your Life to stick, and for you to feel like YOU again, you have to discipline yourself and try something that works. How do you get there in the beginning? What do you need? You need to solve the problem. Am I right? The problem is you are not yourself, and whatever you are consuming, is consuming YOU. That has to go, Girlfriend. No energy is the main issue with most. Weight gain, gut and stomach problems with digesting food, immediate bloating, food allergies, food intolerances, and major backlash with Gluten.

1. Remove the Crap  

Removing the Bad. What doesn’t work for you? What grabs a hold of you at every meal and you can feel it immediately through your digestion? Those are inflammatory foods. They cause immediate bloating, and your gut and stomach are telling you to stop. Remove it. Take a true Deep Dive into this one. These things have to go.

Enter Elimination Diet. Remove all processed foods, and other food causing the inflammation. For my thyroid and hormone imbalanced girls, this is just a beginning list to start with. Remove dairy, soy, gluten, grains, GMO corn, refined sugar and sugar substitute foods, acidic foods, legumes, highly processed oils, nuts and nut butter’s (unsoaked), or anything else that you know might affect you immediately after consuming.

You know what is causing it.  Look for the triggers. You know your body! Overwhelming, isn’t it? It is a huge list. But, do not worry because that is what I am here for! I can and will walk you through everything. Realistically it can take 4 weeks to heal your gut and gut biome. And guess what? 7-8 weeks is IDEAL for life long results you can keep implementing every single day. The Badass Part? Are you ready for this? The Awesome sauce is there are a million alternatives that are offered on what you might be eating now. We just need to flip the switch and try different things that will energize you and keep you at your optimal awesomeness! It IS Possible!

2. Retrain 

You have to restore the good part. Add the key nutrients and the GOOD Bacteria (and those lovely probiotics) back in your gut. How do you do this? By taking amazing probiotics and retrain your body with the right whole food goodness. I use an awesome Probiotic to help gain intestinal strength and it actually contains Prebiotics, Probiotics, and Postbiotics. Do your research and find one that works for you! Also, fermented foods act as probiotics as well, and can help digestion, but start small here if you are in healing gut mode. Sauerkraut is one of my absolute favs along with Kimchi. Coconut Kefir is great too, and easy to digest. I also drink Kombucha, and lavender love is one of my favorites.

3. Repair.

Let’s talk digestion. It is so important when you are beginning an Elimination Diet, to go easy. Don’t overdo it. Supporting your digestion in the best way possible is key, and giving yourself self-care and not stressing out your body. Remember stress is horrible for healing and can cause major inflammation!

A few of my go-to supplements include L-Glutamine and L-Glutamine Powder and ACV These are all perfect for digestive issues and repair, and I use them daily. L-Glutamine is my favorite, and it is a powerful amino acid that really helps repair and rebuilds the gut from the inside. I use the powder in smoothies and take the capsules as well with meals. ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) works like magic for me when I am having acid issues or digestion problems. A shot a day in the am is great, or in your morning H20. Bone Broth is another absolute MUST for gut health and repair. Making your own at home is the best thing to do, or get the bone broth powder packs to supplement with to get the nutrients. I use the bone broth mentioned above sometimes (LonoLife) and all my favorites are in my Amazon store. If you are making it yourself, you absolutely have to go with 100% grass-fed grass-finished beef. You need the RIGHT nutritional and digestive benefits. There are vegan options as well. Yay!

Vitamin D is needed daily for your hormones(and your thyroid), and the perfect lovely sunshine outside is the first place to go! Go for a walk or sit outside in the morning for 30 minutes. It is the best medicine you could ask for! Start with the natural sunshine first before supplementing if you do not have access to get outside on a daily basis. Most people are very deficient in Vitamin D, so definitely get checked out with your doctor and get tested first before you supplement. I had to go with a high level of IU’s(like 10,000) so get checked first.

Sleep is another important one. Rest, rest, and more rest. Digestive rest is the most important of course. We don’t want to eat tons of food at all hours of the day, so keep a window for yourself when you are eating meals and go easy on yourself. Note: I do not recommend intermittent fasting when you are trying to heal your thyroid or hormones. If you have questions on this, please shoot me an email or message. Healing your Gut is the main objective.

Also, getting adequate sleep every night (about 8-9 hours is ideal) is imperative for your brain, thyroid, and hormones. Who doesn’t love to sleep? It is hands down my favorite thing to do and I feel amazing when I have 8 hours knocked out. You need it to repair your muscles, gut, and your brain daily. Put your phone in the other room, and go to bed EARLY.

4. Reset.

It is time to do a Mind Hack. It is all about rewriting your story, creating an amazing life plan for yourself, and staying in a high vibrational state every single day. You CAN do this and keep your mindset in Tippy Top shape at all times. Reset, and retrain your brain. Check out my latest Blog on Growth Mindset Here!

Setting and sticking to a NEW DECISION with your nutrition is not as hard as it seems. Try it for 1 day. You can do 1 day. If it works for you, add another day. And another. Make a schedule that works for you, and YOU ONLY. Please do not worry about all the crazy fad diets out there when you are thinking about your nutrition. Diets don’t work. We all LOVE to workout, right? Grabbing those Endorphins and hanging out with them! Besties for Life.

Let’s Talk Fitness. A HUGE part of this Transformation is to get to a healthy and happy YOU. We have discussed Mindset and Nutrition. Fitness is the last part to get you where you want to be, girl. I was really struggling on my journey. The beginning and not knowing what to do was very difficult. Anyone suffering from an autoimmune disease, thyroid issue, or hormone imbalance knows what that feels like. And it sucks. No Energy. No Time for a Gym. No Routine. No Motivation. Extra pounds. Extreme Fatigue.

Yes. I have had them all. The Solution? CHANGE IT UP.  Don’t stick to one thing because first of all that is boring AF, and you need variety because you have to do several different exercises/workouts to get your body toned, tight, add muscle definition, get more flexible, and most of all, strong and Badass!

Here are a few things I tried and absolutely LOVE and Stick with weekly. Lifting Weights. HIIT/TABATA. Core. Yoga. These four things are key to getting the Energy you want and keeping it with you always. There are many more, but we will cover these today. More blog posts coming on my other favorites that DO work!

1. LIFTING WEIGHTS/STRENGTH TRAINING

Hands down the best thing I added back into my life after several years of not using them. Millions of workouts out there and types of weights to use. 2. HIIT/TABATA

OMG, these are my absolute favorites! Do you have 4 minutes? You can do Tabata. Do you have 6 minutes, 10 minutes, or 12 minutes? HIIT Workouts will get you FAST results and give you so much energy! 3. YOGA

This is some powerful stuff and I absolutely love Yoga. So many practices to learn, so little time lol! This is incredible for your body to transform. You will get toned, tight, and super flexible quickly. And the best part? Weight loss.

I have a couple of wonderful resources for Yoga and they are all great!

1. I love Yoga with Adriene and have taken her Home Series for 30 days on YouTube which includes free video yoga sessions. She is truly amazing!

 

2. The Ultimate Yogi is another great resource. They have great things on the site as well, and under Programs, I purchased The Ultimate Yogi DVD with Travis Eliot. It is a little more advanced, or if you want a major challenge! Check it out HERE!

3. Another one that I absolutely LOVE is Yoga Warrior 365 by Rudy Mettia. He is Amazing! You can find this DVD set HERE! There are tons of other workouts and practices for Yoga, and we will discuss those in later posts and it will be in an upcoming Blog.

4. CORE

Oh yes, my Girl. I mean AB WORK. This is so fun!! Why? Because you can get them done in 10 minutes flat. There are a billion core exercises out there, and I will show you a few favs of mine and creating many Tabata workouts so get on my list for free workouts.
